$18M raised: Capsa AI has closed $18 million in Series A funding co-led by TX Ventures and Pivot Investment Partners, with Bek Ventures, Antler, Outward VC, Cornerstone VC, and angels participating. The London-headquartered company opened a New York office in January 2026 and has now raised $20 million total. The team has grown to roughly 14 people across the two offices.\n\nCapsa is an AI operating system for private capital. The product indexes a fund's scattered internal data (CRM entries, Outlook threads, SharePoint files, deal memos) into a single searchable layer, then runs agentic AI across deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and back office operations. The platform claims indexing of millions of internal sources and tens of thousands of deals across customer firms.\n\nThe differentiator is breadth over depth. Hebbia digs into a single data room. Affinity manages relationship intelligence. BridgeAlpha runs deal pipeline workflows. Capsa sits across the entire fund lifecycle, treating AI not as a feature inside an existing tool but as the operating system every workflow runs on. The customer base includes several of the world's largest private capital firms, unnamed publicly, with enterprise deployments rolling out across the US and Europe.\n\nCEO Danyal Oezduezenciler and CTO Callum Downie co-founded Capsa in the UK in 2023. The new capital funds US and European expansion, deeper enterprise deployments, and engineering hiring.
